Happy New Year Everyone! It’s been a wild 2024 with many ups and downs. We’ve seen a lot of coffee shops and restaurants close and we have welcomed new businesses that have opened. Some of you may know that a little over a year ago, I closed my coffee shop in Portland OR and returned to my home here in Atlanta. It was a struggle at first. I was excited to come back to the world of events but noticed some changes. We’re finding that there is a lot more competition out there and our core business has been coming from our super loyal repeat customers. We had to make some changes.
We had to get leaner. This meant, I needed to get out there and be on a lot more events myself, and connect with my clients one drink at a time. I stayed committed to keeping our European style coffee menu and approach and become a leader in the 3rd wave coffee industry by taking on the craft of coffee roasting.
In March of 2024, I traveled to Mexico City and took a deep dive into coffee roasting. There are some incredible parallels between coffee roasting and dialing in an espresso recipe but ultimately, tasting the coffee is an important part of the process. Last November, I had the opportunity to return to Mexico and visit a coffee farm in Puebla. We took a 4 hour hike and saw the coffee harvest up close in person. We take for granted just how hard people work to produce the coffee we love and it’s been a new part of our mission to support the industry at the farm level.

One of our first coffee roasts titled: “ALL HANDS”
As we enter 2025, we’re excited to launch ATL Coffee Club, a community based coffee subscription both online and in-person, connected people to their favorite coffee brands. More of that to come in the coming months.
We’ll be ramping up our coffee production and expanding our fleet of coffee carts so we can take care of more customers while still focusing on quality. We’ll have retail bags for sale both online and in-person as well as offer up our coffee to local offices and restaurants. Our new carts are collapsable and easy to set up in a variety of locations. We also have lower cost options for offices who don’t need a cart. We can bring our espresso equipment to your office kitchen bar counter barring there is a sink nearby. This pairs really well with our coffee and breakfast package.
We now have breakfast! In addition to our barista service, we can provide pastries, breakfast wraps, and yogurt parfaits so that we can handle a variety of your needs!
Although we have had some opportunities for a brick and mortar shop, we have paused on seeking out opening a cafe. Events are our focus at the moment but we are open to considering the right opportunity.
As we enter our 8th year in business, thank you for your business and we look forward to serving you with Atlanta’s Best Coffee!
